Interview the Person Below You
« on: 13 Jun 2007 - 09:10 »
Rules are simple: Ask a question, and the next person that posts will answer it, then ask a quation for whoever will post next.

In other words, answer the question in the post above you, then ask your own question.

What is your favorite book, and why?

hmm....i think what keeps me going is the fact that i know i am a worthwhile person, i have a promising future whatever may happen, that people love and value me, and that i do have faith in a higher power.

What's the one thing you would change if you could live your life over again?  (Don't cop-out and say you wouldn't change anything!)

I would probably make sure I take more chances. I'm not sure if that would change my life or not though  :P

What is the one thing you could live without in the world?

the one thing that I COULD live without would be ignorance.

Who is the one person that you wish you could bring back to life for dinner for just for one evening?

The Brothers Grimm. Can you imagine how awesome that dinner would be???

If you close your eyes and imagine yourself in an inrapturing place, what place is it? Why?

I'm in a huge underground cavern filled with people.  There is techno music playing and it's beat engulfs everything.  I'd go there because I've always wanted to go to a techno or ambient concert, but I never have.  To be absolutely consumed by the music and experience would be awesome.

Think of what you did today.  Now imagine you can live this day over one time.  What specific things would you do different?

Oh my. I'd wake up earlier and go for a walk, to take advantage of the fantastic weather (I slept too late to fit it in before dark). I'd be less snippy with the nurse at the doctor's office (having a cold makes me grumpy). I would make sure my little sister knew what I was trying to say when I told her she needed to hold out for what she deserves (in all aspects of life). I would have ordered an extra sushi roll at dinner (I'm hungry again).

If you had to hear only one record for the rest of your life, what would it be? Why?

One record..? Meaning, one song or one album? Ahehe..
One song: Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI - IX) by Pink Floyd
One album: Fruitcake by Eraserheads

My question.. How are you? :)

How are you is a loaded question. I often wonder if people truly understand the importance of that question. No one really listens when people answer. I try to genuinely listen to the answer I get, but people don't even put the time into realizing that. It is nice to ask though. Literally too... How are you? I don't know I guess it always makes me think how I am, not what I am feeling. I am irrational, funny, skeptical, interested, frustrated, excited, tired.

Okay okay, this is 4 am talking.

What is your most recurring dream?

Wow, this one is easy.  I often dream that I'm losing my teeth.  There's no pain, but teeth just fall out, or one tooth and it's really graphic.  And I spend the entire dream trying to keep them in or put them back.  It's horrible.

Have you ever had a thought about yourself that scared you?

Ha. Hmmm... Yes, I have had a thought that's scared me (about me) it's thinking I'm never going to accomplish anything. The unlived life is my biggest fear.

Are you a procrastinator or an over achiever?

A little bit of both? I work in an industry of deadlines, so that keeps me on my toes. And I'm never really satisfied, I guess, so I've got my eye on the next rung of the ladder at all times.

Do you still have the stuffed animal/blanket/whatever snuggly thing you had when you were a baby? And if so, where is it?

Yes I do. It's a stuffed panda that's about the size of a toddler. It's at the foot of my bed. It's the first present I ever got, when I got off the plane, so it's special. D'aww.

What is your dream career, and if you are working towards it now, how so?

My dream career, surprise, is to be a novelist/screenwriter/producer.  I'm four years into school, havn't graduated yet, and I up and decided to join the military because my life became stale.  I need experience and life, and I was running out of options. We'll see how this all works out...

What is reality (in your own words)?
